Description
I made Pumpkin and Walnut Chutney yesterday - it's the first time I've bought a pumpkin for eating and I thought the different components might make a nice picture. 
I've seen other 'looking down' food photos here on dA and quite liked the effect so I thought I'd give it a try! 
I also make pumpkin seed bread, plus I've got some of the seeds and half of the pumpkin left for other things! I might made a Pork and Cider stew with it (the recipe I've seen uses butternut squash, but they're interchangeable - so I've heard
), or some soup. I've never really eaten much pumpkin before! Bought one for carving once, but never cooked with it I've also bought some purée to use for a 'Ghost Pots' recipe I've seen which uses meringue as a topping. So much pumpkin; I might start turning American if I eat too much! 
Please feel free to offer critique on this! There's something missing here, but I'm not sure what it is. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated

"might turn American"- we'd love to claim you. I like the photo. Perhaps next time use a colored bowl/board for the pumpkin seeds? Whiteintowhiteontowhite is sort of....don't know the word. You probably understand, though. Ghost pots? That sounds interesting, i'll have to go looking for the recipe. You might also try melting a cup or so of butter, coat seeds, spread onto a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt and toast in oven. Good for snacking and a little different from nuts. (Some folks also sprinkle with pepper/chili powder along with salt)
